Dear Femi,
The love that we share exemplifies what the Bible teaches us about love in the 13 chapter of 1st Corinthians that love is patient, kind, doesn't envy, doesn't boast, isn't proud, doesn't dishonor others, isn't self-seeking, isn't easily angered, keeps no record of wrongs, doesn't delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres, and most of all love never fails. I love that you are intentional about loving me the way the Bible tells us to love each other. I know that I'm not perfect, so to persevere through these years loving me without faltering is appreciated. I know you to be loving, patient, kind, caring, and forgiving. I love that you are always willing to sacrifice yourself for the greater good of our marriage. Your heart is pure. I'm attracted to the fact you are always trying to love on people, especially me, the kids, our mothers and countless others.
Advice: Find someone that loves God so much that it shows in all relationships. Be intentional about loving your spouse the way the Bible tells us to. Love is not passive, it's an action word....DO SOMETHING!
