Chris & Femi

We are Chris & Femi.  Our story isn't your typical fairy tale. We were childhood friends and we became teenage sweethearts.  College journeys and chasing dreams took us down different paths. Years flew by, filled with new experiences and the inevitable bumps and bruises of growing up. We reconnected, that childhood spark reignited, burning brighter than ever before. On August 10, 2013, we blended our families and vowed to build a life together.

Building a healthy marriage hasn't been without its challenges. We've learned that love, like life, requires constant work. Prayer has been our anchor, a quiet strength that grounds us during stormy weather.

Communication is our lifeline, a bridge that keeps us connected even when misunderstandings threaten to separate us. And most importantly, our enduring friendship is the foundation upon which everything else rests. We may not be perfect – individually or as a couple – but we strive for something far greater: a love that complements, a partnership built on trust and respect, a forever we get to write together, one chapter at a time.

But through it all, we've learned some valuable lessons about faith, communication, and the enduring power of friendship in a marriage.
